In the office, kitchen or even in the garden we all ways like listening to the radio. Therefore you guess why we like Roberts SolarDAB Radio whcih also comes in 5 eco cool colours. As well as being stylish, sleek and compact, in good conditions the integrated solar panel can generate sufficient power to charge the batteries and power the radio. To monitor the power level being generated and consumed, there is a handy ‘level indicator’ on the display screen.
Once the rechargeable batteries have received a full charge via sunlight, solarDAB’s low power consumption allows the battery to power the radio for up to 27 hours. During this time, you can use your radio away from sunlight or mains electricity until further recharging is required. Should sufficient sunlight not be available when the radio is needed, you can always recharge the batteries via the supplied mains adapter.
Due to its large battery capacity and compact style, the solarDAB radio is ideal for use in gardens, on windowsills, in greenhouses, or even further afield while camping, travelling, or on holiday. To add to the solarDAB’s eco-friendly credentials, it is packaged using cardboard produced from recycled waste paper.
