Made from ruined novels, the artists breathes new life into forgotten books and creates a solid piece of furniture and sculpture in one. The cushions are made from hessian and filled with shredded recycled paper. A set includes one table and two cushions.
Hannah Lobley graduated with a masters in Applied Art & Visual Culture in 2004. Her work has been exhibited internationally and nationally with shows in Japan and China and the UK. Hannah’s work has been showcased by the Crafts Council at the Victoria and Albert Museum shop in London. In addition to Pure Design, Hannah’s Paperwork is also stocked by Liberty’s of London. In June 2008 Hannah won the Best in Show Eco Award at Design Show Liverpool judged by Wayne Hemingway.
